Program Registration and Cancellation Policy - Princeton Theological Seminary

Program Registration and Cancellation Policy

Registration, cancellation, and drop policies

General Rule for In Person Events & Conferences

All registrations for conferences and events are confirmed only when full payment of program and associated fees is received. Continuing Education provides receipts and confirmations, and does not issue letters of invitation — international participants are welcome but are responsible for handling their own visa arrangements.

Unless stated otherwise on an event registration page or confirmation, cancellations and withdrawals are subject to the following cancellation policy:

If you cancel your registration up to one week (seven days) prior to the event start date, your fees will be refunded, minus a $15 processing fee. There is no refund for any cancellations made within one week (six days or fewer).

General Rule for Online Offerings

Online offerings, purchased through the online.ptsem.edu site, are nonrefundable.

  • Dropping an online course with a pending start date: If you initiate the process no later than 10 business days prior to the start of your course, you may request a credit voucher for the price paid toward a future course. Credit vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of request.
  • Dropping an online course noted as “Available Now” or “On Demand”: Available Now or On Demand courses are not eligible for transfer or credit.

All drop or cancellation requests must be made by email to coned@ptsem.edu.

Degree graduates of Princeton Theological Seminary receive a 15% discount on continuing education program fees for on-campus events and online offerings. This discount cannot be combined with other offers such as “Early Bird” rates. Occasionally, an event or online offering is excluded from this offer due to already subsidized pricing, partner restrictions, or enrollment limits.

Occasionally, there may be events and programs that may not be discounted due to limited enrollment or certain qualification requirements.

Princeton Seminary Community

Current Princeton Seminary students (enrolled in a degree program), faculty, administrators, staff, and visiting scholars and their spouses are welcome to audit most on-campus continuing education programs without program charge on a space-available basis. However, meals, lodging, and any special material fees are not waived or discounted.

Occasionally, there may be events and programs that are not open to complimentary participants due to limited enrollment or certain qualification requirements.
